The DT12 transmission—linking engine to axles in the Powertraini—brings you 12 tightly-spaced speeds. It also features Intelligent Powertrain Management, which uses terrain maps to know the route ahead and create optimal fuel economy. IPM pinpoints the truck's location and looks over a mile ahead to anticipate terrain. IPM will adjust cruise control, pre-select gears, eCoast and brake the engine to maximize efficiency into the road conditions ahead.
